Well since my friend Mr. Yandek has me hooked on sports gambling. I might as well post my pick..so without further ado..here are my million plays for this weekend..all bets are 5 in amount. I got a little zany only because I got some free cash from bodog :trx-sly0. All plays are from bodog. The good news is this..even WHEN I lose..it didn't cost me a thing...this was played off the $25 I recieved.

I really hope that my poor choices will take the edge off of some of you that might take a bad beat this weekend. Pretty much I just tossed away the free money in hopes of some cheap laughs. I am sure some of you will laugh when you see these puppies arty:.

Oh if anyone wants any information on as to why I think say for instance SMU can win..let me post my thinking.

SMU wins or has a huge shot of winning because the Rice Owl's defense is like a pin-cusion (has a lot of holes) and allows an average of 45.7 points a game. Pretty much facing a defense like Rice will make any bad team look good..and my final reasoning Rice is a run oriented offense and SMU's run defense although not a stalwart but it will shut down anything RICE has to offer and will pull away late in the contest. Remember I teased that line to -1. SMU wins 34-24.

Here are my "real plays this weekend"


Iowa vs Northwestern
I really like Northwestern to beat Iowa at home and here is why. I'll give everyone the simple fact that Northwesterns D-sucks! However the defense does cause turnovers I do believe its around 24-25 turnovers it has created this season mostly from interceptions. That should cause enough problems for the Iowa offense enough that is for Northwestern to just nip the Hawkeyes. Another factor I like in this game is the fact that on Northwestern they have Tim McGarigle who is beastly on defense. Add that up along with a potent offense and I gotta take Northwestern for the minor upset at home!!!
Tossed 10 to get a 22 payout on the moneyline.



Michigan St vs Pur-done..I mean Purdue
The Spartans finally showed up and destroyed Indiana, I like them against a team that looks like its pretty much packed it in this season. Drew Stanton vs a team that is lost..I like Mich St. to cover the spread EASILY!
Tossed 15.50 for Mich St. to rip Pur-done by more than the line -5 to get back total of 29.61.

Finally my last play for Sat.
Miami (Fla) vs Va Tech
Strange things happen when the Hokies play at home and by strange things I simply mean TURNOVERS at the right time. The defense seems to thrive on the excitement from the fans. BUT I know that alone isn't enough to win games. The Hokies are playing to well right now not to keep riding this hot streak. While the 'Canes looked sheepish against UNC. Another fact I like about this game is the QB's. Who would you rather bet on Kyle Wright or Marcus Vick? I think that should say everything.
Look for VA Tech to cover the spread easily (-6.5) tossed 10.31 to win 19.69.
